Side effects: The allergy test for an initial treatment

4. side effects

4a. Animal experiments with DMSO: Side effects

Side effects in animals after DMSO treatment
There is a report from Dr. Walker in his book from 1993 claiming the following (p.53):
-- excessive amounts of DMSO ingested (overdose of DMSO) cause temporary myopia in rabbits, pigs and dogs (p.53)
-- there are no reports of harm to humans, neither in consumer reports nor at medical meetings nor in the scientific literature, not even at the DMSO symposia (p.53)

-- animal experiments on fish, birds and mammals as well as on test persons were all without poisoning, no toxic threshold can be defined (p.54)
-- rats survive DMSO immersion in a 60% DMSO solution 3 times per week for 26 weeks without any problems (p.54)
-- not one single animal died (p.54)
-- LD50 value makes no sense, an overdose is hardly definable (p.54)

Costs of DMSO treatments
-- DMSO therapy costs a maximum of 30 cents per day (p.55)

History: The revival of DMSO started in the 1990s (p.55)


4b. Test subjects with DMSO: Side effects

Side effects
There is a report from Dr. Walker in his book from 1993 claiming the following (p.53):
-- there are no reports of harm to humans, neither in consumer reports nor at medical meetings nor in the scientific literature, not even at the DMSO symposia (p.53)

-- further tests prove: DMSO is NOT carcinogenic / is teratogenic / non-allergenic (p.56)
Brobyn in California did a series of tests with prison inmates 21-55 years old for 14 to 90 days:
1) test of DMSO gel: of 78 (p.56), 12 get skin irritation and drop out, 2 leave because of odor (p.57) [they are hyper sensitive in their nose]
2) with high dosage 54 people are tested for 3 months (p.56),
->> the claimed side effect of temporary short-sightedness could NOT be observed, this was apparently a lie (p.57)

Healing rate: “non-responders” are everywhere (p.57)

Side effects of DMSO UNdiluted
-- DMSO UNdiluted is irritating to the mucous membranes and flammable, eye irritation possible, NEVER inhale, NEVER place next to flames [gas stove etc.] (p.61)
-- in case of eye irritation, rinse the eyes with running water for several minutes (p.61)
-- if UNdiluted DMSO is swallowed: rinse mouth + drink plenty of water to prevent irritation (p.61)
-- always “extinguish” irritations caused by DMSO with water (p.61)


5. Storage of DMSO / storing DMSO

-- DMSO should be stored in the dark protected from light at 20ºC (p.61), in the dark in a cupboard (p.94) [wardrobe, as also silver water / colloidal silver]
-- DMSO should be stored in a glass vessel, because it dissolves plastic, HDPE is ok (p.71)
-- DMSO over 1 liter should be bought from a chemical dealer (p.61)
-- DMSO is not a dangerous substance and can therefore be traded without restriction (p.61)

6. DMSO mixtures

-- white people with blond or red hair and blue eyes (pigment deficiency) need a lower concentration, otherwise they react with irritations (p.66)

Side effects with DMSO solution ("7 parts of DMSO and 3 parts of water" (p.72))
-- most people have NO side effects (p.67)
-- sensitive people have tingling or pulsation (p.67,70) and localized redness for a few minutes or hours, which then subsides (p.67)
-- if itching occurs: it is better to treat during the day, because you are distracted by work and do not feel the itching as much (p.67)
-- if you treat in the evening and itching occurs, you can rub it with water to reduce the itching, but there is always a risk of scratching the skin when you are asleep (p.67)

Side effects after several DMSO applications

-- in order not to provoke reddening of the skin or to provoke wheals, it is better to dab the respective skin areas with a damp cloth before putting on the clothes (p.71)

Side effects: DMSO on furniture
-- DMSO dissolves upholstery materials and paints, so do not drip on furniture (p.71)


7. Applications with DMSO

7.1 External applications of DMSO [7 to 3 solution, sensitive people must dilute more]

General information
-- DMSO passes quickly through the skin and soon into the blood, it is detectable in the blood within 5 minutes (p.69)
-- DMSO heals relatively long, because it has a relatively long half-life (p.69)
-- within 4 to 6 hours, a maximum level in the blood is reached, then the level slowly decreases over 3 days and DMSO is healing everywhere (p.69)
-- if well tolerated, the application with DMSO can be repeated (p.77-79)

Utensils for DMSO
-- cotton swabs -- porcelain containers, for example egg cups -- natural hair brushes -- vials in amber glass -- white cloths that do not bleach -- kitchen paper -- a metal spoon for measuring [NEVER plastic, because DMSO dissolves plastic] -- glass pipettes -- glass syringes -- measuring cylinders -- 1 tsp is approx. 3 ml liquid -- always put names / label the containers for storage (p.72) with exact labeling of the solution mixture (p.73)

DMSO: spray, swab, drops
-- Spray (p.69) on wounds or on other skin damage [such as hematomas etc.] (p.77), spray against sunburn (p.78)
